Hello friends and happy humpday!  After all of the rain we had this past weekend and pretty much all day Monday & Tuesday, the sun has showed back up along with the most beautiful cooler temps!  It feels like early Fall and I’m absolutely loving it.  These kinds of days are my favorite because I can still wear all of my colorful pieces by simply adding an easy jacket layer and pair of booties!

People have a misconception that once we hit mid-August, we have to leave our bright and fun colors behind and immediately commit to dark, muted tones, but that is just not true!  I’ve shared time and time again that I sometimes get into a style rut when Fall hits.  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE all things Fall!  From college football, tailgates, pumpkin spice lattes, sweaters, and booties to tasty crock pot creations, the changing of leaves, and so much more ; but I struggle in the outfit department!  I’m just over here like can I please wear the rainbow all year long?!?

But I can!  And here’s how…

The key to wearing your favorite colors into and throughout Fall and Winter is to move away from those loud neons and choose pieces with jewel hues and color palettes that are reminiscent of Autumn.  This striped romper is a perfect example of just that!  The stripes are so fun and so me but the colorful rainbow print has deeper, richer tones which lends itself to the changing of the leaves, making it so perfect for these transitional months!

I purchased this light brown suede Moto jacket last Fall and have gotten so much use out of it!  This color works so well for me because it’s lighter and goes seamlessly with most of my booties and boots that I wear!  It is a bit pricier but coming from someone who thinks long and hard about the Fall clothes & jackets she buys, I promise that it’s worth every penny!

And can we take a moment to chat about how stinking cute these sock booties are??  The blush/tan color is a near perfect match to my jacket and they are SO comfortable!  You could easily wear these booties now with shorts, dresses, or rompers (as seen here!), and of course, they will look bomb.com with jeans, as well!

If it’s still warm and toasty where you live and it’s not quite time for jackets and booties, you could still definitely wear this romper with tan wedges, or your favorite nude pump!  And if it gets chilly when the sun goes down, opt for your trusty jean jacket for a no-brainer easy layer!

I adore the off the shoulder fit and the fact that it has POCKETS makes it that much better!    If you have a Fall wedding, bridal shower, outdoor gathering, or you just want to take your date night up a notch, this striped romper is a must-have piece for all of my color-loving girlfriends!

Traveling somewhere warm this year?? If you have an upcoming vacation, you NEED this cutie!  I can’t wait to bring it with me to Mexico later this year.  It’s super light weight and doesn’t wrinkle easily, so it’s ideal for traveling.  In fact, you could even wear this while traveling by simply adding a long cardigan and rocking white slip on sneakers or your favorite pair of sandals!  That way when you arrive at your warm weather destination, you are ready to hit the ground (aka beach, sand, and sun) running!

And if this striped romper wasn’t already oh-so-sweet, my friends at Sugar Boutique are offering my Sabby Style galpals 15% off your purchase with code SABBY15!

Thank you to Sugar Boutique for partnering with me on today’s post!  All thoughts expressed are sincerely my own!  Thank you for supporting the small businesses that I love to work with! xoxo

A little behind-the-scenes as to what most of my blog pics actually look like haha!
