Hi friends and happy first full week of 2019!  Now more than ever before, this New Year has brought me LIFE.  I’m feeling so thankful that I get to run my own business, which allows me to work alongside my amazing Hubager (Husband and Manager haha) and that I have the opportunity to pursue my dreams of being a creative entrepreneur!  I think I was becoming lazy and lackadaisical in 2018 and I started taking this blessing for granted, and that is just not acceptable!  So it’s time to kick it up a notch!  I’m excited for my business, as well as my personal life, and I know it’s going to be one heck of a year.  This New Year feels different than any other “fresh start” because I thought long and hard about my Word of 2019 and I feel that the word I chose truly encompasses my intentions and hopes for 2019!  I’ll be sharing my word and why I landed on it in an upcoming post, so be on the lookout for that soon!  2019 has sparked my soul and brought some fiery motivation!

The New Year has also has brought some pretty gorgeous weather to Omaha!  It was 46 degrees, sunny, and no wind when I was driving to the gym this morning at 8:30; which is crazy for a midwest winter!  And with the taste of Spring that Mother Nature is giving us right now, I thought it was the perfect time to start adding some light hues and feminine florals to my wardrobe.  This light gray cardigan is amazeballs, you guys!  It’s super warm and cozy, but it’s not big and bulky, which is a big plus because no one wants to add bulk to that post-holiday bod!  It also comes in two other color options and it has POCKETS.  Need I say more? Wait, it’s just $37, whoop whoop!  I’m wearing the Small and it fits perfectly oversized.

Underneath is the prettiest light pink and floral thermal tunic that is a must-have layer as we work our way from Winter to Spring!  I styled it tucked in, as well as untucked, so you could see the length and hem.  It covers the rear, so it’s definitely leggings approved!  I’m also wearing the size Small and it fits TTS if not a tiny bit loose.  And it’s only $35!
