Hi friends and happy Monday! I’m slithering into a new week in this colorful snakeskin top! In case you haven’t heard, snakeskin print is trending big time right now! At first I was admiring this trend from afar, because I wasn’t quite sure if I was “edgy” or “boho” enough for it. I was primarily seeing it in black and white options, and while black and white is such a classic combo, you girls know I don’t wear much black and prefer colorful clothes! So when I was chatting with my friends over at Amelia’s Boutique about which item we wanted to feature this month, they sent me a photo of this top and I knew it was meant for me! When a piece combines bright colors with a trendy print, I’m all in.
This top is super light weight and is an easy breezy number, which is ideal for when temps start to warm up! The print brings the right mix of boldness and femininity and I like that the sleeves are slightly longer than a typical short sleeve top. It is longer in the back, so you could definitely pair it with leggings and a jean jacket if it’s still chilly wear you live! I love how it looks with these flare jeans, for boho vibes (trying to step out of my comfort zone!), and I also plan to wear it with cutoff jean shorts and tan wedges (my go-to look) as soon as the weather permits!
I would say that this top definitely runs on the roomy side, so no need to size up! I’m in a Small and typically wear Medium in shirts and sweaters.
