Hi friends and happy Monday to you all! Where. Did. The. Weekend. Go. Oh I know, today we are starting construction on our master bedroom so we spent all day Sunday clearing out every single piece of furniture, clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, pictures, decor, and tv out of the bedroom and man, was that exhausting! BUT, I think this was the boost we needed to finally start updating our house. It’ll be 5 years in July that we’ve been here, but I didn’t know how long-term our stay was going to be, so we haven’t made any cosmetic changes to it. But after doing some major evaluation and realizing that we have a house that has some great bones and lots of space, plus an amazing location and one of the most desired neighborhoods in Omaha, I think we are here to stay! I am a bit overwhelmed in thinking where in the heck we will start. But thankfully my dad is not only a talented graphic designer, he just so happens to be a master carpenter and will help us make our home dreams come true! First things first, knock out a wall and build out our master bedroom closet and then paint the wood work white through out the house! Wish us luck 🙂
Now, onto this darling (so so darling) pink Shabby Apple skirt! It speaks to me. This shade of pink is just brilliant and the fit of this skirt is on-point. The lovely sheer lining and stripe detail turns an ordinary pink skirt into a bold, sassy piece! I opted for my favorite chambray shirt, a fun necklace, my new Beau Bag, and my go-to nude pumps. Let’s face it, when you are wearing this skirt, you don’t need much because it pretty much is the outfit!
Shabby Apple Skirt // Super Similar Chambray // Necklace (sold out) but very similar // Sunnies – Mae Christina Accessories (code SABBYSTYLE20) // Beau Bag – Similar – and love this! // Heels // Lipstick // Sabby Colorful Cuff // Watch
Thanks so much for reading and have an awesome day, GF’s!!!
