PIT // Waking up before the sun rises is for the birds!  Yes, I am trying to be a morning person, but gosh dang, I’m not! Once I’m up and at ’em, I’m fine and I love coordinating great community events for my job, but this little lady needs about 9 hours of sleep to function and rising before the break of dawn just isn’t my gig.  SO… if you have any tips on how you get your buns out of bed and can turn me into an early bird, I would love to hear it!

PEAK // So every month I facilitate a meeting with a group of community members who serve on a committee for our agency in which they assist us with fundraising for local programs, spread awareness and really are our brand ambassadors!  And they are awesome people!  This past year I have truly gotten to know them and have grown so fond of not only this select group of people, but really everyone in the community.  That is hands down my favorite part of my job – building relationships and connecting with people.  So this past Thursday one of our committee members brought me in a gift just because she thought I was doing good things and appreciated all I did for them.  <— Insert fuzzy heart moment right here.  It pretty much summed up why I love my job and how thankful I am that I have the opportunity to work and connect with such great people.  God is Good!
