Hiiiiii sweet friends and happy Wednesday! How the heck are you? It’s been a bit since we’ve talked and I do apologize for being a tad silent on here! Nothing bad or good to report, just busy with life stuff. You know how that goes! And sometimes I need a little pause in order to regain focus. I LOVE my job and creating content that you girls love to read and see, which is why it’s important for me to ensure every post I create has value and thought, and it’s not just a quick, 5-sentence blurb that I post for the sake of posting. We’ve also been having the crummiest non Spring-like weather and that hasn’t helped my writing/creative juices. Please tell me we’re not the only ones experiencing the craziest weather? Warm and sunny one day and in less than 24 hours it’s snowing! Mother Nature needs to get her act together. Doesn’t she know that we’ve got cute clothes to wear?!
It may be flurrying as I write this post, but I don’t care, Spring is happening on Sabby Style, end of story! Last week my awesome photographer & friend, Kylee, and I took advantage of one of the few nice days we had and shot a bunch of fun Spring looks, including this frilly floral romper! Be. Still. My. Heart. I am obsessed with this sweet and sassy number! Rompers rock because they not only look like dresses but also have that little slice of fabric in between the stems, making it even more of a rock star…. and here’s why! 1. You don’t have to worry about the wind blowing up your dress. There’s nothing worse than letting the whole world know that your about a week past laundry day and you’ve resorted to tapping into the undie archives haha. 2. Girls Night is calling! With a romper, you can drop it lowwww on the dance floor without flashing everyone!
The sweet ruffle detail on the sleeves and hem add a little something special and also give the shorts a little extra length, which I appreciate! Sure, there are a few items that I purposely buy and want them to be short aka Vegas dresses, but when it comes to a romper that I want to wear for a variety of occasions, I definitely don’t want it to be uber short. The length is just right on this piece! And the flutter sleeves add a touch more coverage, which I appreciate, especially if I want to wear this to a more modest event. And speaking of modest, praise Jesus that someone finally figured out that drape-front rompers stop being cute when they open up and show everything! There’s a time and place for more risqué pieces, but when I envision wearing this romper to weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, and Summer dinners with my family, I don’t want my full chest to show. This romper has a very small (and hidden) clasp on the chest that keeps the two draped pieces of fabric together! You can bend down and move all around without a slip!
And just in case you need one more reason why this romper should be yours, you can use exclusive shopping code sabbystyleapril20 to receive 20% off!
