Hi friends!  I shared a huge life update here and yesterday marked the start of my last week as a Development Coordinator (aka event planner/fundraiser) at HFS!  It’s beyond crazy to think that after almost an entire year of hoping, planning, praying, and working hard to build my Sabby Style business, the time has finally come for me to take it on full-force and give it all of my energy and love.  I gave a 6-week notice for many reasons, but the top reason was that I wanted to see through one of the big fundraising events I’m responsible for, which was June 17th.  It was our 12th annual event and for the third year in a row, we raised a record-breaking amount and it went off without a hitch!  Which if you’re in the event planning business, you know this rarely ever happens.  From the feeling in my heart I had that night, to watching the numbers go up and up, and then surpassing our goal – I was overjoyed and knew I had made the right decision to stay and see it all come to fruition!

My last day is Thursday – because who would work a full week right before the 4th holiday – and I’m beyond excited to dive right into my SS work! I’m also ready to dive right into the pool, which is exactly what I’ll be doing come this weekend!  My parents have a lovely backyard pool oasis, and my dad makes mean drinks, so every holiday/weekend, all our family friends gather at my parents casa and I can’t wait for a fun-filled 4th of July weekend!  Now when it comes to our nation’s colors, I don’t normally wear red, white, and blue on the reg, but I couldn’t help but fall in love with this adorable red & white striped top from Bennie C’s Boutique!  And when I buy items & hues that aren’t in my weekly rotation, I make sure that it’s an item that can be worn seamlessly all year round with many, many different outfit combos.  For instance, once Fall arrives, I will wear this darling striped number with black jeans, gray booties, and an olive green utility jacket!  And when Spring shows up, this top would look awesome with light-washed distressed jeans, a top-knot, nude heels, white blazer, and a pastel handbag!

I also love when my closet faves are affordable – which this red and white cutie definitely hits the mark!  With shopping code SABBYSTYLE20, it’s under $20!
