Hi friends and happy Wednesday! Before we dive into this pretty lavender sweater, let’s all have a laugh about the fact that one pant leg is cuffed and the other is not! Fun fact – when I shoot looks for ze blog, we do anywhere from 4 to 8 outfits at a time, and I change in the backseat of my SUV. Glamorous I know! So while switching my shoes out, I must have rolled up my pant leg to see where the buckle was (I’m also blind as a bat!) and didn’t realize I had made a nice little cuff on one leg. I literally LOL’d when I got the pictures back and texted KyLee and she thought it was intentional haha! While I do like to step outside of my fashion box sometimes, I’ll leave the one cuff style to someone else!
But there is one thing I am keeping around, and that is this oversized purple sweater! I’m a pink girl, there’s no question, but I’ve recently become quite smitten with purple hues. I picked up this lilac scarf and have been wearing it all winter long! I also snagged this purple number and love the way it looked with my skin and blue eyes. So, sorry pink, I’m two-timing ya!
This lavender sweater has the prettiest crochet detailing and while it does fit oversized, it’s not baggy and still flatters my silhouette!
I’m wearing a small for size reference. I also love that I can wear it off or on the shoulder, depending on what vibe I’m going for! For these kinds of sweaters and tunics, I swear by this cami tank. The criss cross detail on the front gives off a little sass but also covers up some skin, which is huge for me because I have some sun damage in that area that I like to keep on the low-low!
This sweater is light weight and isn’t too bulky, which means it lays very nicely underneath jackets and coats!
And because it’s not super thick fabric, I can wear it all through Winter and into warmer Spring temps. It’ll look SO good with shorts and wedges! And you girls know I love a good sweater and short combo. I really love this shade of purple, but if that’s not your jam, this darling sweater also comes in a pretty pink option, too! Which means I’m going back for that one, as well, because… #pink!
