Hi gals and happy Monday!  How was your weekend? My bridal shower was yesterday afternoon and my heart exploded with all of the love, kindness, and generosity from the most important women in my life!  We had the most perfect weather and the sun was warm & shining!  I felt extra special and thanked God for blessing us with such a beautiful day to gather and celebrate.  The afternoon was filled with my friends and family, a mimosa bar, chicken salad lettuce cups, a few fun games, and the yummiest cupcakes!  The only thing I regret is that I didn’t take any pictures of myself with my girls.  One would think that as a blogger & IG-er that I would be on top of my photo game, but when it comes to special occasions and celebrations, I often don’t have my phone on me because I just want to enjoy the moment and not be worried about capturing the perfect photo.  Does this happen to anyone else?!  Thankfully Michelle snapped some of me opening gifts (totally not flattering and horrible side profile, gahhh) and got the funniest video of me answering questions that Tony had answered!  Good Lord, even when we’re not in the same place, that man still makes me laugh like no one else!

Also, my hair has been a hottttt mess as of late and my next hair appointment isn’t until next week, so in the meantime, I’m so thankful for this hat!  I’ve always loved winter hats growing up, and I rock my Yankee ball cap at least once a week for my Trader Joe’s runs, but I was super hesitant about wearing a fancy hat!  Like, I’m wearing a hat because it’s a cute kind-of-hat, not because there’s 7 day dirty hair under this B.  I had to make a return to Forever21, and since they only give store credit for returns and I rarely shop in-store, I decided to stock up on accessories while I was there!  I almost didn’t get this hat and boy am I glad I did.  I’ve been wearing it nonstop!  Even Tony likes it on me, and usually he is slow to my trend-trying ways.  It’s the perfect size and isn’t oversized nor is it too floppy so I don’t have to fuss with it or worry about it blocking my line of site!  This color is the perfect neutral and looks good with absolutely everything.  And it saves me from having to tease up and spray down my locks, which gives my hair a break!  The best part is that it’s under $23 which makes for a no-guilt purchase.   My adorable striped sweater is also a perfect Fall find.  It’s light weight, which makes it great for solo wear now while the weather is still mild, but can also be layered come the colder temps!

Are you girls into hats? If so, let me know where you’ve been finding yours!  Thanks so much for reading and have an awesome day!
