Pink Floral Tunic + $35 White Jeans

Hi friends and happy ~~Monday~~ fresh start to the week! How was your weekend? Ours was pretty low key and I wasn’t mad about it! Tone and I went to Kansas City on Thursday so I could shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in store, and despite me being prepared to drop some major moolah, I was disappointed with the selection and only bought 3 things. Talk about being underwhelmed. But I wasn’t going to let that get in the way of having some fun with my husband! We stayed the night in Power & Light and had a great time bopping from bar to bar and even wound up getting tickets for the Randy Rogers Band & Eric Paslay concert! Friday afternoon we drove home from KC and then I vegged on the couch and shopped the Sale while watching Netflix! I ended up getting a ton of really awesome goodies and they’ll be here today, so I’ll be sharing them with you super soon! Are you guys shopping the sale? I know there’s a lot of chatter about it, and it might be a little overwhelming, so I thought today would be a perfect day to take a break from it and talk about something just as fabulous & wonderful… this gorgeous floral tunic!

You girls know I’m obsessed with floral prints and the color pink, so the stars aligned and the style gods smiled when I picked out this top from Impressions Boutique! On this particular day of shooting, it was actually pretty chilly, so I opted for white jeans (only $35!) and love how fresh and crisp this combo is! I’ve also worn this tunic with cutoff shorts and wedges, and I’ve used it as a swimsuit cover up, too. Talk about versatility! And because florals are just as fun in the Fall, you can transition this top by wearing it with dark washed jeans or layer a jean jacket over it! A few other fun things about this outfit would be these teal green scallop sandals with a block heel! I fell in love with this shade and those round details were too darling to pass up. These pink tassel earrings are such statement makers, especially with the turquoise stone, and are actually not heavy! Yep, no droopy lobes here. This is a great brand, as they have designer looks and quality but don’t break the bank!
