This post is in partnership with Minted, as I received these cards as a gift. All thoughts expressed are sincerely my own!
Hi babes and happy Wednesday! I had every intention of getting this post up over the weekend but my heart was being pulled to just be present with family and to take a step back from my desktop. I normally don’t put Sabby Style business on the back burner but there’s truly nothing more important than time with your loved ones! Which is also why I made sure we got proper family photos this year! Our white dog, Franklin, is almost 12 and Roger, our rescue, is now 8.5, so my puppy mama heart was feeling a big push to get our sweet little family on film. Tony and I had planned to include the boys in our engagement photos but that didn’t work out, and since we had a Catholic ceremony in a Church, we couldn’t have the dogs there on our special day. I know they’re just dogs to some, but to us they’re our whole world and we are definitely crazy dog parents! I’m so happy we were able to capture those sweet puppy faces for us to cherish forever!
And speaking of forever, most of you know that Tony took his sweet time in proposing to me haha. I’ve wanted to send out Christmas cards so badly for many years now, but told myself to wait until we were engaged. Little did I know it would take him almost 8 years! But never the less, I still waited until we made it “official”. So when he proposed in July of 2015, I had planned to hop on the engagement photo train and get those done asap. But then we decided to have a New Year’s Eve wedding and I wanted our engagement photos and our save the dates to compliment our wedding theme, therefor late Summer/early Fall scenery was not going to work! We took engagement photos in mid-December, which didn’t allow for enough time to get cards out that year. So 2015 passed and I swore to myself we would send out Christmas cards in 2016. Well turns out that when it’s one month before your wedding, the last thing you want to do is make another decision or spend money on more postage ha! So after almost 10 years, I’m so proud and happy to share our 2017 Christmas Cards!
We used Minted for our Save the Dates and not only did I love how they turned out, but the process was so seamless and their customer service is beyond helpful! So I knew right away I would be using them again for our Christmas Cards! And again, the process was so easy and I tapped into their online customer care. I was worried about the font on the bottom and they sent me 3 different options to choose from even after I had placed my order! And even with the changes (I made), they arrived early! Which was much appreciated since I was running a little behind on getting them ordered and out 🙂
