Hey girls and happy Friday! Boy oh boy, has this been a week. Post-vacation blues + an overflowing inbox has kept me super busy, and while I would have rather been lounging at the pool with a book, I got a ton of work done and feel super accomplished and ready for the weekend! What do you girls have planned? Tonight I’m going to be doing an Instagram closet sale over @sarasabscloset because I’ve been doing quite a bit of shopping (thanks Nordstrom Sale), so some purging is in order! Tomorrow, Tony’s playing in a golf outing and I’ll be attending a bachelorette party! The theme is a Fiesta Pool Party, which makes me think margaritas and fresh pico might be involved, so I’m pretty excited haha. Now if only the weather would cooperate! It’s supposed to be a high of 68 degrees and lows in the 50’s. Not sure how much swimming we’ll be doing, but that won’t stop us from having a good time! It actually feels like Fall here. I’m not ready to say goodbye to Summer, but it’s been nice to have the windows open and to not run the A/C!
You girls know I love all things Summer… Pool days, travel, shandy beers, tan skin (SPF approved!), fun nails, cute wedges, and cutoff shorts. Need I say more?! Not only is it my favorite season because of the reasons mentioned above, and it holds my best childhood memories, but it’s my color/style season! Between bright colors, neon hues, and bold florals, I’m in heaven. And that’s why I struggle with Fall! Everyone ditches those things for dark colors and lots of plaid. And that’s great for most! But that’s just not me. Obviously I’m not going to wear neon colors in the Fall, but I can still wear florals! You just have to re-think your floral game by switching to jewel tones and richer colors, like this navy top from Dreamboat Boutique! I’ve worn it with white moto leggings as seen here, but I’ve also worn it with cutoff shorts, and black distressed denim. I know, you may be thinking, black with navy??
