Hi friends! Â Are you recovered from all your Christmas festivities?! Â I’m just now coming out of my ham and cheesy potato coma haha. Â So with Christmas officially behind us, it’s time to prep and plan those party looks for NYE and any other upcoming holiday parties you may have on your calendar! Â This is my third and final holiday glam post and I hope you girls appreciated and enjoyed each look I’ve shared, as I try to highlight a few different looks for everyone’s unique personal style and preference; like a Velvet Jumpsuit and Jeans + Blazer Combo.
While I truly love each outfit I bring to you on Sabby Style, this sweater and skirt duo might be one of my top favorites! Â There are so many reasons why this ensemble is stealing my heart, but I think the #1 reason is that both pieces can be worn separately and styled endlessly! Â I’m absolutely in love with this leopard print sweater! Â I’ve been looking high and low for the past few months for the perfect leopard pullover and was disappointed that I didn’t find “the one”. Â But then the fashion gates opened and my little fashionista heart exploded with joy when I spotted (pun intended!) this spotted number from Sugar Boutique!
The fabric on this sweater is buttery soft and it’s ultra cozy, which is a must in order to survive winter in Nebraska. Â While it’s cozy and comfy, it’s not super oversized or baggy and it actually has really great shape! Â It’s hard to tell from these photos because I tucked it into my skirt, but the bottom hem has the same black and white striped detail as the arm cuffs and neckline, which gives it more of a tailored, polished look. Â And because it’s not a jumbo sweater, you could easily pair it with pixie pants or a pencil skirt for an office appropriate outfit! Â I also love the softness in the color and print, plus the shimmers of gold give it such a special touch! Â This is definitely a piece that I will keep in my closet for years to come because the quality is top notch, along with the exceptional fit!
I preach versatility and that doesn’t stop when we’re talking about special occasion pieces, either.  From the party to the board room, this sweater will take you all the places!  Pairing cozy knit sweaters with skirts is such a fun and unexpected combo and I love the juxtaposition of fancy meets casual.  This gorgeous pleated midi skirt would also be suitable for a professional setting by adding closed-toe heels and swapping out the sweater for a long sleeve blouse or shell and blazer!  It has subtle hints of glimmer and sheen, which completely elevates it to a total 10!  And you girls won’t even believe the price-point on this skirt…. only $40! It also comes in a beautiful mauve pink option, as well!
New Year’s Eve marks our two year wedding anniversary and I’m definitely making Tony take me out so I can wear this outfit…even if it is only for afternoon happy hour haha!
