Hi gals and happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start! Things have been insane in the membrane around here, and I’ve been a tad quiet on the blog (my apologies – I miss you guys!), so I thought I would catch you up with a mini Life Update post!

TONY’S BIRTHDAY

This past weekend we celebrated Tony’s 36th birthday! We went out during the day with friends on Saturday and on Sunday we did a little birthday shopping at the Outlet Mall. We had the most beautiful weather, sunny and 70 degrees, and my heart was so full after celebrating my sweet Husband! In honor of his birth and with Halloween right around the corner, I shared this gem of a picture from our 1st Halloween together ELEVEN years ago! We were such babies… and I was so tan. Gone are the days of fake baking! And can we take a moment to applaud Tony’s commitment to his costume?! This thing was so big & fluffy and he was wearing it bartending that night haha what a site to see!

MY PARENTS’ 39TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Earlier this month we celebrated my parents’ 39th wedding anniversary! My mom was/is best friends with my dad’s sister, which is how they met when my mom was 14. They began dating when she was 16 and got married at 18! They moved to Washington State for my dad’s job just a few weeks after they got married and then moved back to Omaha six years later and then got pregnant with me! Then almost five years later they had my sister, Rachel. My parents are my absolute favorite people and I love celebrating the life they’ve built together! Cheers to Master P and CoCo!

THIS PINK SWEATER HAPPENED

You guys, I don’t know why chenille ever went out of style but I’m thrilled it’s back and in my opinion, better than ever! This fabric is seriously so soft and I love the cable knit detail. WORK, WORK, WORK, WORK

Things on the Sabby Style front have been beyond busy! Q4 aka the holiday season is always jam packed but this year is crazier than ever, which is a good problem to have! I recently signed on with Olay to test their new Fragrance-Free Whips and thus far, I’m extremely pleased! I also will be working with the University of Nebraska, my alma mater, fo the next year to share Game Day and Lifestyle fashion, so stay tuned for lots of outfit inspiration for cheering on your school or favorite sports team! Another change is that Tony has been taking my blog photos. I love my photographer, Kylee, whom I’ve been working with for almost 2 years! But to keep growing and evolving my business, I want to have more control over the content I create, which means shooting and editing my own photos. Tony is such a great sport and we’re really lucky that he also works from home, so we have the flexibility to shoot throughout the week!
