Hey friends! As luck would have it, I came down with an annoying head cold yesterday and I’m totally beat! I think going from the dry, desert air to super humid and allergy filled weather has my sinuses out of whack. And all I’m craving is french onion soup from Panera! Please tell me other people love Panera’s soups as much as I do??? I’ve actually been looking for a Panera-like french onion soup recipe that I can make at home so I don’t have to spend $7 every time I want a cup of soup! If you have any good recommendations, please shoot them my way!
Moving on, last week, before the Vegas craziness and my head cold, I wore this gray suede shift dress and loved the way I felt when wearing it! The fabric is so soft and the silhouette fit me perfectly. The length worked great for heels but is also suitable for knee high or over the knee boots, come Fall & Winter! Suede is a great way to transition out of summer without having to add heavy layers and this gray hue works all year round! It’s still toasty in Nebraska, so I opted for colorful accessories to keep it light and bright! But when the weather pumps it breaks and finally decides to cool down, simply throw on a black moto jacket and you have an instantly sexy & chic look for a date night! Tone and I are celebrating our 8.5 Year Anniversary later this week and I think this dress will be my outfit of choice!
For size reference, I’m wearing a size 6 in dress and am normally a size 4/27 in jeans, a 2 in skirts, and a Small/Medium in tops!
Dress c/o Waverly Grey // Similar Heels – under $85! // Similar Purple Satchel // Sunnies – only $50 and so worth it! // Necklace – under $30! // Earrings // Watch
Have a great day babes!
