Fringe With Benefits…

IMG_2603

Hi gals! Last Saturday I wore this outfit out for a day-date to get sushi and watch sports with Tone and I seriously fell in love this sweater.  I also took a step out of my comfort zone with this number because surprisingly I don’t own any other tops or sweaters with fringe!  Which is silly because fringe is so fun!  Aside from the darling fringe detail, gray is my current favorite neutral, and this sweater is super soft.  And uber flattering! Which is why I titled this post “Fringe with Benefits”.  It has a nice fitted shape and is right up my alley because I don’t care for baggy sweaters and how they look on me.  The V fringe cut-out draws the eye up and down, rather than from side to side, which elongates my torso and gives the illusion of a slimmer tummy… and who doesn’t love that???  I also had a few people ask me on Instagram if I was wearing a cami underneath because of the illusion the fringe cut-out gives, but to much delight there is fabric connected underneath  Which makes this sweater a piece that you can literally throw on and go!  Plus, it’s under $20!!!

And I had about five minutes to figure out what I was wearing… but have no fear, because when that happens, I automatically know what to grab!  For me, those include ripped jeans, booties, my favorite monogram necklace, and my go-to reversible tote!  Pile on the armcharm and put on some pink lips and voila, you are good to go for some casual Saturday fun!
