Hi lady loves and happy flippin’ Friday! This. Week. Boy was it a doozy! At my work, we had two special events, both equally awesome and heart-warming in their own ways, but also requiring lots of work and extra evening hours. Tis the life of an event planner! So that being said, I am so happy it’s Friday! We don’t have anything on the books and I secretly love that. I have plenty of items on my to-do list but sometimes you just need to put your feet up, not move from the couch, and go braless every once in a while!
And speaking of weekend plans, I wore this gorgeous floral wrap maxi dress two weekends ago to our Godson’s baptism and I’m seriously in love – with Godson (duh) and this dress! It’s no secret that I have a heart for florals and fun patterns so when I saw that it was also an uber flattering wrap dress with a sassy slit to show a little leg, I was hooked like a small mouth bass. Speaking of, as I’m typing this post, I think I want to go fishing this weekend! Ok I digress, back to this beauty. I wanted to add a little 70’s flare so I opted for my taupe platform sandals and a fringe bag! I’m also hosting a giveaway on my Instagram for the chance to win this dress & bag combo! Just visit my Instagram photo and follow the easy peezy rules to enter!
If you follow me in any capacity on my blog or social media, you know I rarely wear black, but I recently lightened my locks for the summer, and I seem to like black more when my hair is light. Is anyone else like this?! My wedding hair goal is long & dark so I’m growing it out and have been taking Hair, Skin, and Nails from ItWorks! and I have to say with 100% certainty, it IS WORKING! I will be doing a post soon and can’t wait to show you my progress photos! So much progress, in fact, that my poor shellac is barely lasting two weeks until the outgrowth looks terrible. I used to go 3-4 weeks and now have to religiously go every two weeks! If your dying to get your hands on the HSN product before my big post, you can contact my girl Charissa here!
Cheers to the freakin’ weekend, boo thangs!
