Hi friends and happy Wednesday! How is your week treating you? I’m still recovering from my trip to Charleston and can someone please tell me why unpacking your suitcase is the absolute worst? I dread it! I’m majorly missing the pink, yellow, and blue picturesque streets, but the one thing I’m not missing is that dang humidity! It feels good to have my hair back haha. It’s actually pretty mild here in Omaha this week, and while I’m not ready to kiss Summer goodbye just yet, I am getting that Fall itch, especially after wearing this outfit! During this time of the year, I get more choosey when it comes to what I buy because it has to be something I can wear right now and also something I can wear into the cooler Fall months. I’ve been stalking these slouchy peep-toe booties for almost a year now, but wasn’t quite ready to pay $150 for them. So I freaked out when I saw that they were a part of the Nordstrom Sale and were majorly marked down. I knew I had to finally get them! They come in two other colors and I might go back and get the light gray/tan hue, next. Peep-toe booties are a prime example of the perfect transitional shoe, as you can wear them in warm and cool temps and the color is a great neutral that works in both seasons, as well!
Another, wear now and later piece, is this gorgeous swing tank with floral appliqué flowers! It’s no secret that florals are a Spring & Summer staple, but as the weather changes, swap out the neon hues for rich, jewel tones, and you can take those florals all the way into Fall! This is the prettiest shade of red and it stands out beautifully on the light tan top. This material is silky soft and has the slightest shimmer, which I love!
