Hey beautiful friends!  I’m finally back to reality after a very awesome two-week honeymoon in Mazatlan, Mexico!  Tony and I had the best time (more to come in a full review post of where we stayed) and it was actually really really sad to leave the sunny beach to go back to dreary, cold weather and dead grass.  I know, dramatic, Sara!  But honestly and truly, two weeks did not seem long enough and we had the most amazing time, I didn’t want it to come to an end.  Usually after 10 days, I’m ready to come home, but this was the first trip I’ve been on where I was absolutely dreading the last day and flight home!  I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that when the honeymoon was over, that meant all of the wedding whirlwind was over, and that’s a major bummer!  I know this is just the beginning, but for those of you who are married, you know that post-wedding blues are a real thing!  So to cure my vacation hangover, I did what I do best, I cleaned and organized the crap out of my office/closet aka the “cloffice” and after a few good hours of getting my life back in order, I felt at ease and ready to tackle the new week and the new year!  I caught up on emails and wrote out my hopes and goals for 2017 – which I’ll be sharing soon! – and that helped me gain perspective and focus.  There are so many good things to come and I am so excited to see what this year has in store for myself, my business, and for Tony and I!

Since I had no choice but to come back home to winter, I’m so glad that I have this amazing jacket in my lineup for the rest of the season!  I finally pulled the trigger last year and never looked back.  This jacket was made for me!  I’ve blogged about it quite a few times, but girlfriends, I’m not exaggerating when I say it is hands-down the best faux leather moto jacket you will ever find.  Even though the beautiful Mexican weather gave me a bit of summer fever, I always get a little bit sad when it comes time to say goodbye to my favorite jacket!  It has a snug fit, which I personally like, but if you want to wear layers or thicker sweaters underneath, I would recommend sizing up!  I’m wearing a size Small.  Also, the selling point for me was the fabulous structured shoulders!  They immediately slim and elongate your arms and torso.  The zippers on the waist are adjustable and it looks great when worn unzipped or zipped.  I wore this jacket for 12 days straight when I was on vacation in London & Paris last year and it has held up perfectly.  In fact, it gets better with wear!  It’s under $100 and free shipping – so it’s a win, win!

And do you spy my fabulous rose gold sunnies? How can you miss them?!  These are so fun to wear and their only $16 plus you can take an additional 20% off with code sabby20 from Shop Suey Boutique!
