Hi friends and happy Halloween! Â I’m not dressing up this year, but to get into the holiday spirit, I’m sharing the cutest candy striped sweater! Â This “Skittle” sweater stole my heart with the beautiful colors, the fun stripes, and I adore the distressing detail along the hem, neckline, and sleeves! Â I’m a huge proponent of wearing bright colors all year long, and this sweater proves that with the right accessories, you don’t have to pack away your favorite bold hues just because it’s Fall.
To make this sweater cold weather-appropriate, I opted for these cognac sock booties and one of my favorite pairs of jeans! Â The brown and tan tones in my handbag tie in with the booties and my simple gold jewelry let the sweater do all the talking. Â I also love how oversized and cozy it is! Â For reference, I’m wearing a size Small and it’s plenty big, so no need to size up.
What’s even better about this sweater is that I definitely plan to wear it in the Spring, as well! Â How cute will it look with white jeans?!? Â The colors will pop perfectly against the white denim and I envision a bold statement earring and a nude heel for a dressed up-casual vibe! Â In fact, would this not be darling for Easter after Church? Â Ahh so many fun ways to style this beautiful sweater, I can’t wait!
