Hey girls and happy Wednesday! The weather has been so bizarro here in NE the past week. Yesterday it was 70 degrees. Last Saturday it rained, sleeted, snowed, then was sunny & in the 50’s. So I haven’t quite packed away my winter layers and warm accessories just yet. The key for me during these transitional weeks until we hit the full blown spring sunshine & warmth is to wear layers while sporting light, airy colors and patterns. Normally when you think about a blanket scarf, you think tartan plaid and a very heavy scarf – “blanket” like. But this mint and navy plaid scarf is neither! The colors in the plaid are a beautiful mix of soft pastels with navy and the weight is just right! A blanket scarf that is perfect for Spring??? I didn’t believe such a thing existed until this little darling found it’s way into my closet!
I’m almost always drawn to white tops – whether it be racerback tanks, linen tees, or waffle knit sweaters – crisp white and creamy hues give me my mojo. The color black is definitely not in my color wheel, but I don’t always want to wear bright pinks and neon yellows, so white is my go-to neutral! You can dress it up, dress it down, and it always lends a sense of ease and breeze to your look. I wanted to keep this outfit simple and let the pattern & colors in my scarf, along with my favorite booties, do all the talking!
Thanks so very much for reading and have an amazing day!
