Hi lovebug friends! How are you all doing? I just got back into town late Monday night from our London & Paris vacation and I have to say that the eight hour time difference has me all out of sorts!  I’m normally a big fan of sleep, and put it at the top of my priority list, but these past two days I can’t get enough of it.  I slept until noon yesterday! And I was yawning non-stop right after dinner!  I head back to work today and I’m hoping that getting into my normal routine will help me adjust soon.  Thanks to everyone who gave me some tips & tricks on Instagram for overcoming jet lag!

And after being gone for 11 days, I can hardly believe that we are already half way through the month of March!  March is one of my favorite months.  For one, February is over!  And then there’s warmer temps, March Madness (I love college basketball!), Franklin’s birthday, and our anniversary.  And a bonus is that Easter is early this year!  Not that I need an excuse to buy new pretty Spring items, but finding an Easter outfit is something I’ve never grown out of.  I think a large part of that is the nostalgia from shopping with my mom and sister for Easter dresses when we were young!

This bright and beautiful watercolor midi skirt from Mindy Mae’s Market is not only perfect for Easter mass & brunch, but will be darling for spring & summer weddings and bridal showers!  The length is just right and it has pockets.  So basically, it’s a gift from the fashion gods!  I paired it with a classic chambray shirt and some fun bright orange strappy heels (also on major sale – under $50!) for an easy, yet pulled together look.  This skirt would also be great with a black & white striped top and black pointy pumps!
