Hi friends and happy Fri-YAY! I shot this look last month before I left on vacation and I’m so glad I did because by the time we got home, the pretty leaves had already fallen and I feel like I missed my favorite part of Fall. We live in an older, well established neighborhood, so our trees are huge and always turn the prettiest shades of deep rust and copper and I’m pretty bummed I didn’t get to enjoy them this year! So I’ll go ahead and live vicariously through the pretty trees in these photos and my burgundy bell sleeve sweater! Even though shades of brown and darker neutrals aren’t typically my thing, I could not pass up this rib knit sweater. I love the bell sleeve trend but sometimes when they’re super exaggerated sleeves, they can get in the way – hello food on my sleeve every time, but these are just the right amount of sass! The fabric is a super soft knit and is just as cozy as it is cute!
Now onto the real hero of this post… THESE. LEOPARD. BOOTIES! Goodness gracious, I am beyond obsessed with these shoes. This has to be the prettiest leopard print and the tones are so rich and luxurious. Ankle boots are trending big time right now and these hit at just the right point on the leg and don’t make your legs look shorter! The block heel makes them extremely comfortable (perfect for my upcoming trip to DC!) and the side zipper allows for easy on & off access. I don’t know how many times I’ve had to have Tony pull of my boots for me ha!
