Hi friends and happy Wednesday! How is your week going so far? Monday was my first morning back at Farrell’s Extreme Bodyshaping after being sick for nearly two weeks and it feels so good to be getting into my morning/workout routine again! Now that I’ve officially graduated from the 10 week challenge, I decided to join the gym so I can continue on with my workouts and transformation. Yesterday was the first day of the Spring 10 Week Session and even though I’m not a “10 Week-er” anymore, I’m going to pretend I am and start the new 10 week challenge so I can really hone in on my eating and go harder every morning on the mat! I’ll be sharing my pit and peak, final thoughts, as well as my before and after photos, in a blog post coming soon!
It’s crazy to think that I started on my healthy + active lifestyle change in January and that it’s already April! This year has already flown by and Summer will be here before we know it. I feel silly even typing that because even thought it’s technically Spring, it still very much feels like Winter here in Omaha! It was literally flurrying when I left the gym Monday morning. WHY?!? Spring is my absolute favorite season when it comes to fashion & personal style and I’m beyond ready to bust out my new favorite Spring pieces! I got this super cute bold + colorful floral top about a month ago and have been so eager to share it with you girls. I’m obsessed with the green and yellow color combo and the bell sleeves are right on-trend for the season! I really like wrap dresses and tops but they often times don’t work for me because I’m bigger chested. Well this top has the look of a wrap but it’s a surplice cut, so it drapes beautifully in the front but is sewn together, so you don’t have to worry about pieces flying open and you don’t have to constantly pull and tighten it to keep everything in! I really like the criss cross neckline, as it covers my chest just a smidge, which tones down the amount of skin shown and makes this a great option for work or play! I took a dressed-up casual approach by styling this top with my favorite ripped denim from Express and these fabulous white heels. This outfit is something I would wear for date night or a night out with my girlfriends! If I were to style this for an office setting, I would pair this top with black pixie pants and black or leopard flats. And if it’s still chilly where you live, you can easily layer a jean jacket or blazer over this top, as well!
Ordering Tip: I highly recommend following the measurement chart they provide, rather than ordering your typical US letter size. For size reference, I’m wearing a Medium and it fits roomy on me!
