HI FRIENDS! How are you?! I am sorry for being a bit absent on the blogosphere this past week. Not only was work super busy with morning and evening events, but we are moving offices so much of yesterday was spent packing up both of my offices and also packing up our department! And to top it all off, our Roger had his cataract surgery on Tuesday. I am so happy to report that surgery was a success and he can finally see! He even chased a squirrel the other day. It was the best thing ever! But I have to say, the post-surgery routine is a bit daunting. Tony and I are pretty much running a vet clinic/pharmacy! And the cone of shame he has to wear for two weeks is just heartbreaking. He hates it! But, short-term pain for long-term gain and I cannot wait until he is back to his old self again. Thank you to everyone for your well-wishes, prayers, and positive vibes for our boy!
I wore this ensemble a few weeks ago and my-oh-my, it was windy that day! So, I do apologize for the odd hair that resulted in these photos! But crazy hair or not, I have to say that this burgundy plaid blanket scarf is definitely the star of this look. It is so cozy. And I love that it isn’t an “oversized” blanket scarf, because it actually lays like a scarf! You know what I mean??? I want the cozy feel and look of a blanket without having to physically wear a blanket. Well, prayers answered! Le Boutique Shop and my girl Elvia have fantastic pieces at incredible price-points! Be sure to check out this scarf and the others she has on her site. And scope out the pink puffer vest…. Oh. Em. Gee. It’s so cute!
