Athletic Wear on a Budget!

Hi friends and happy Sunday!  I don’t normally post on the weekends, especially on Sundays, but I’m feeling super motivated and ready to take on the week, along with my workout routine, thanks to the Family Fitness Day event I attended at my local Gordmans on Saturday morning!  I was asked to take over their Instagram account and live post from the moment the doors opened until the free swag bags were gone and I had done my fair share of shopping lol!  This was so fun for me because about 15 years ago, I actually worked at Gordmans!  Yes, that was my first taste of retail work experience.  And I truly loved it!  It was right down the street from my house, I got to color code racks on racks to my heart’s content, and I could actually afford to shop there, too!  Well nothing has changed minus the career move, because I still consider Gordmans my go-to for so many things.  I mean, you guys, have you seen their home decor selection? Bye bye entire paychecks and hello cute throw pillows!  And just like me and my style, Gordmans has also grown.  They now offer a huge selection of name brand athletic and leisure wear!  From Nike, Puma, and Skechers to the cutest Yoga lines, there is definitely something for everyone.  And because you girls know I like to ball on a budget, Gordmans speaks my money love language – sales.  Not only do they have great prices every day, but in honor of their Fitness Day, they were offering an additional 30% off Clearance (ends tonight!) as well as 20% off athletic shoes!  I get a little giddy when I pick up an item and look at the price tag and see the “theirs” price and “ours” price because I can afford to get more at Gordmans than anywhere else!  I ended up going home with these super cute Pony gray joggers  – under $10, navy Yoga top – under $2o, White Nike t-shirt – only $15, and a Creighton Basketball t-shirt – under $16!

I encourage you all to get moving this week – girl, me included! – and to shop local when you can.  My heart is full when I know my hard earned dollars benefit my beloved community!  I hope you all have a blessed Sunday! xoxo
