Hi friends and happy Wednesday! My Spring Fever is realllllly strong right now, and while it’s suppose to snow the rest of the week, I’m going to pretend that’s just not the case and continue on with my Spring outfit planning! Anyone else in denial that it’s still Winter? I’m hoping this our last stretch of cold weather and that Spring will finally be here to stay. I’m ready to rock some bare legs and sport this gray swing dress! A dress is the perfect option for when you want to look put together but also want to be comfortable. This gray swing dress is so soft and cozy and I just love that it has pockets! The length is just right, so you don’t have to worry about bending over and showing the world your goodies when putting groceries in the car or if you’re chasing around little ones. Dresses are so versatile and can be re-worked many different ways for every season!
Here are a few outfit ideas for this gray dress…
Spring Casual Weekend – Similar to how I styled it here, wear your favorite flats or loafers and add a denim jacket or utility vest. You could also tie a chambray or plaid shirt around your waist rather than wearing a jacket! Or ditch the jacket all together and wear a colorful light weight scarf!
Spring Office Style – If you work in a business casual office, you can wear this swing dress with pointed-toe flats or pumps and add a boyfriend or cropped blazer for a dressy layer. The gray color looks great with everything, so depending on how causal your work environment is, you could choose a bold blazer in bright pink or yellow or go with a more traditional option like black.
Winter Casual Weekend – Black tights paired with tall over the knee boots create a sexy yet weather appropriate look for a date night! If you need to add a coat, opt for a moto jacket to bring some edginess to the outfit.
Winter Office Style – And if it’s still pretty chilly wear you live, simply add black or dark gray tights with booties and then layer a gingham, plaid, or striped button down underneath the dress. The layered top will keep you warm and the collar brings the detail and a pop of color!
Early Summer Casual Weekend – When Spring begins to roll into Summer, it can still get a tad chilly in the evening, so this dress would be perfect for drinks on the patio or even for indoor events when the A/C is blasting. This dress would look darling with espadrille wedges and fun statement earrings for a laid back evening with friends!
Early Summer Office Style – When I worked my 9-5 office job, it was always FREEZING inside, even in the blazing Summer months. Long sleeve dresses like this one are great when the weather outside does not match those indoor office temps! Want to dress it up? Belting it would give it a more tailored look!
Not only is this dress already such a steal at $38, but my Sabby Style galpals can take an extra 15% off with code SABBY15 from Amarello Boutique!
For size reference, I’m wearing a Small and am 5″3 in height
