Hi sweet friends and happy Monday aka fresh start to the week! I’m so excited to share this post with y’all because I absolutely LOVE this gorgeous floral dress! I don’t know about you, but I firmly believe that floral printed dresses can be seamlessly worn all year long and this dress from Stormie Dreams 100% proves my theory, and here’s why…
– Dresses are that one item in your closet that can be taken from season to season with a simple switch of the shoes or jacket! I had just gotten these heels, so naturally I could not wait one more day to show them off haha but now that the weather has taken a turn for the cool side, I’m looking forward to sporting my new favorite booties with this dress!
– And florals are not just for Spring. Put aside the notion that Fall clothes have to be dark, muted tones. This floral print combines subdue hues with bright pops of color and the length of this dress is ideal for both heels and booties!
– When I shot this look, I was envisioning a Fall bridal shower or feminine event, so I opted for these stunning pearl embellished heels – that are just under $35 btw! – To keep this particular shoot on the casual side, I went with my trusty denim jacket, but this dress would be perfect under a bright coral, pink, cream, or navy blazer for a dressier vibe! Also, one of my favorite outfits to put together is one that combines edge & femininity, so another great layering piece would be a black or olive moto jacket! Another way to wear it is to add a basic long sleeve top underneath for a laid back layered look!
