Hi friends and happy Monday! With Valentine’s Day being just two days away, I wanted to share this bright and colorful sequin sweater! I typically wouldn’t refer to sequins as “casual” but since I’ve worn this sweater with heels, flats, and Uggs; it falls in my casual file! I’m the first to admit that I have an obsession with sweaters and I think it’s because they are so versatile. Nine times out of ten, there’s a sweater in every purchase I make, even in the Summer. I’m a sucker for light weight pullovers and duster cardigans! Sweaters are so easy to dress up or down, ensuring lots of wear out of each piece and that you’re getting the most for your money! And one of my all time favorite ways to wear sweaters has to be with boyfriend jeans and heels. Whether you’re wearing a t-shirt, oversized sweater or a basic white tank, adding heels to your favorite jeans instantly elevates your look. I love dressing up for special occasions but as I mentioned in my latest post, we’re a very causal couple, so a sweater with jeans and heels is right up my alley! Which makes this $35 sweater is such a great option if you plan to have more of a casual Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day!
I wanted to let the sweater take front and center, so I opted for sleek nude pumps and minimal jewelry. Usually I’m a “more is more” kind of lady, but this sweater honestly doesn’t need much! I’ve had this pink bag for a year or so now and am always looking for fun looks to wear it with, and this sequin sweater was just the ticket! I know pink isn’t everyone’s color, so if that’s the case, use which ever colorful bag you have in your closet or a classic black or tan purse would work just as well. This sweater would also look fabulous with black distressed jeans and black booties OR white jeans with tan loafers for early Spring! And you girls know I love my bright colors, so needless to say this rainbow sequin sweater is stealing my heart! It brings just the right amount of pizzazz and sparkle, making it such a fun piece to get your from Winter to Spring!
