Hiiii friends! I’m so excited to finally get this post live, as I’ve been putting the finishing touches on my Cloffice and am so excited to share it with you all! I’ve rearranged this room about 5,000 times but every time I felt that something was missing. So when the awesome people at Hayneedle reached out to me about partnering, I was so excited at the opportunity! And after hand-picking some fabulous items from their expansive website section, this space really came together! I spend so much time in here that it truly needs to be more than just pretty to look at, but majorly functional, as this is my work space! And because I live in here M-F all day, it also needs to be inviting and comfy!
So I began my search with adding a bench. I love the look and function of a bench, because not only is it a chic piece, but also serves as a cute catch-all for bags, clothes, and gives me a cushy spot to rest my bum while changing shoes! Since getting this super cute pink berry bench (only $117!), I’ve moved it quite a few places lol but am loving it in front of the window. I actually sit here in the morning when I do my bible study! I keep a couple pillows on it for some extra cozy vibes. I then decided that the room needed a new rug! I’ve had two previous rugs, and while they are fine and may make an appearance again some day in the future, I just wasn’t totally satisfied. It’s hard to find a more white than cream rug, friends! So when I saw this white and gray patterned shag rug (only $135!), I knew it had to make it’s way into this space. I love how the gray correlates with the gray floors we installed.
And the last, but not least, addition is that darling leopard pillow (only $80!) that I use for my desk chair! I’ve searched high and low for a leopard pillow that was the pattern I wanted and did not cost $200! Seriously, I will not spend $200 on a pillow, but to each their own! Anywho, I absolutely the leopard pillow. I was worried that it would clash with all the other prints found in my clothes and laptop case, but I think it’s just right because after all, leopard is a neutral!
This room was definitely a labor of love, as it has a completely new face & look than what it used to be! Back story – this room was one of our spare bedrooms and served as Tony’s “changing room” aka where he kept all this clothes, shoes, watches, etc. because I took up all the space in our Master bedroom. In February of 2016, I decided that in the upcoming month of June, I would be quitting my 9-5 day job in order to take Sabby Style full time and would definitely be needing a formal space to call my own. So we (Tony, my dad, and I) ripped out all the carpet and flooring, painted the walls and trim white, took out the wooden closet doors and installed sliding mirror doors, installed more can lighting and a chandelier, and then laid new gray faux wood floors! Once that was all done, we bought the closet shelving, rods, etc. (Easy Track system) and installed everything no problem in just one day!
I never thought that it would turn out as beautifully as it did, and it is definitely my happy place! It’s a space where I’m always adding new trinkets, prints, pillows, etc. and Hayneedle is always my go-to destination for everything. Literally! Even though renovating your home is not always fun, the end result aka shopping for fabulous new goodies makes it totally worth it!
And because I truly love Hayneedle, and I know you will too, we’re teaming up to give away one $250 gift card! The giveaway will be on my Instagram very soon, so be sure to check there for the announcement!
