Hey babes! How was your weekend? We had the most beautiful weather and I loved every minute of it! Friday night I went out with my galpals and had a ton of fun and stayed out too late, per usual. Saturday, T and I found a patio and enjoyed some cold brews in the evening. And for Easter, we went downtown to walk around and grab Easter brunch, then we got in our cozies and I watched The Ten Commandments movie, did some bible study, and had Chinese takeout for dinner! I picked up a new journal bible last Fall and just recently cracked it open. If you’re looking for a little inspiration to help you make time for Him, you can find it here!
After a fun and faith filled weekend, I’m ready to take on the week! Now that it seems the nice weather is here to stay, you can find me living in easy pieces, such as this kimono! I wear kimonos constantly from Spring to Fall. You can style them endless ways and because they come in so many pretty prints, it appears you are dressed up and tried harder than you really did! One of my favorite ways to wear a kimono is with a white tank or tee. A basic white top is the perfect canvas and looks great with every print, color combo, and style! You can see some examples of how I style them here, here, and here. Once the temps really heat up, swap the jeans out for shorts! I always get so cold in restaurants and bars in the Summer because they’re blasting the AC, so a kimono is the best way to add a light layer while still looking seasonally appropriate! Plus the long ones I have act like a blanket haha. Which is exactly why I’m planning to wear this kimono for my travel look on Thursday as I head to Dallas for the rewardStyle conference! We all want to look cute, yet cozy, while traveling, and with a few basic pieces, you can do just that! Pretty layers (the kimono, #leduh), a neutral carryall tote, and comfortable yet cute shoes are the three must-haves to make this look work! If you incorporate these items, you’ll be ready to hop off the plane and start your vacay right away, no outfit change needed!
It’s no secret that I have a thing for pretty prints, and I just adore this tropical palm print! The colors are so vibrant and the all over black background is very different from the other ones I have! Tropical prints are super popular right now, and I love that I can try out the trend without breaking the bank! This kimono is only $32 when using code SABBY20 from K. Ellis Boutique!
